Favorite Things: Age 2

Image
I have so many favorite things, Sayler.  I gave up long ago trying to count your words because it seems as if overnight your vocabulary doubled and tripled and took on a whole new way of our family communicating with one another. We speak in Saylerloquys, often using your made up words and mis-pronunciations to talk about... anything. Coffee is "Foffee" and I am almost disappointed when people use the word 'coffee' correctly around our impressionable daughter for fear we will lose the joy of hearing her say "Foffee" as we pass Starbucks every day. "Body" is the funniest verb ever and we aren't 100 percent certain where it came from but when you pass gas you make the funniest "uh oh" face and say "OOP! BODDDY!" And oftentimes as we pass through crowds while shopping and a stench from yonder passes our way Lloyd will remark "someone totally bodied over there..." or I will cock an eyebrow and ask, unequiv

Gym. Vegas. Gym. Vegas.

That's the mantra. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. If I can't get my arse off thee floor to get to the gym, I say, aloud "Gym. Vegas. Gym. Vegas..." Because it's one of the 3 major motivators to get me to purposefully sweat.  What are the other two? "Pool Party" and "Beach Day" All other aquatic ventures are near those top 3. The need to someday potentially near airlifting to the nearest hospital is at a distant last but still makes the top 100 list of reasons to pump, lift, tighten, squeeze and curl when I'd rather do whatever is on the opposite spectrum of fitness which is like, nap. And there are songs that put me in the mood to go to Vegas and put in a few extra exercise sessions per annum. This is one of them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9blSYZrT8lo
